The majority of manufacturing industries rely heavily on electronic devices to process products, communicate, operate computer systems, and power equipment. Consequently, it's crucial for every student to have a fundamental understanding of electronic component functionality, as most equipment is electronically controlled, requiring operation and maintenance. This course will cover topics such as semiconductors, diodes, rectifiers, transistors, bipolar junction transistors, and field-effect transistors.
